인터뷰 정책과 유무는 학교마다 다르지만, 일반적으로, 지원자 전체 인터뷰와 지원자중 일부만을 학교측의
요청에의해하는 인터뷰(Interview by Invitation Only)가 있습니다.
학교 측에서는 인터뷰를 통해 여러분의 다음 능력을 판단하고자 합니다.
-지원자의 대인관계능력
-학교 문화(culture)와 지원자가 잘 맞는가?
-지원자의 강점과 학교에 대한 기여(contribution)
따라서, 인터뷰 전에는 학교의 지원자 집단에 대한 일반 정보를 분석해 보시고, 이 집단에 비해 여러분께서
가지고 있는 강점과 약점을 정확히 파악하시기 바랍니다.
간혹 인터뷰를 옵션으로 놔두어 지원자가 선택하게하는 학교가 있습니다. 이러한 경우에도 인터뷰를 생략하는 것
보다는 적극적으로 응함으로써 여러분 자신의 대인관계 능력과 학교에 대한 관심을 표현하시는 것이 좋습니다.
최근의 입학전형과정에서 인터뷰는 그 중요성이 날로 커지고 있기 때문에 지원자의 입장에서는 GMAT와
에세이의 준비 만큼이나 심혈을 기울여서 준비하셔야 하는 부분 입니다.
대학원인터뷰의 과정은 비슷하나 MBA, 의과대학원, 법대 (Law School)에 따라 다른 특정질문으로 구성됩니다.

Q : Describe yourself.
A : Over the last ten years, my background has been in the field of Biotechnical Engineering. Specifically,

Q : How would someone else describe you?
A : Dependable. I make sure that whatever goal I’m assigned, I see it through to the end. Everyone in my
office has come to rely upon me to uphold my end of a project. They can be confident that I will finish
what I start. On the last project that I was assigned…..
Q : What is your long-range objective?
A : The future is always uncertain, yet I’ve always set goals. My long-term objective is to be the manager at
the customer service department. I know that your school’s MBA offers the potential to achieve that position
and I’m fully prepared to do what is necessary to get there. It’s always been important for me to set my
goals high and then follow through.
Q : How has education prepared you?
A : Most students will take the bare minimum of courses to get through, but I’ve always taken additional
courses and electives that I knew would relate to this type of work. For example, during my junior year
I was able to take two additional accounting classes. In one of them, my final project involved working with a team and…
Q : Why should you be a good candidate for our program?
A : I sincerely believe that I am the best person for the position. My past experience has taught me the
necessary skills that will allow me to succeed in this position. Other candidates may have the ability to be
successful, but I combine that ability with an attitude that is guaranteed to deliver results.
Q : What is your greatest weakness?
A : I’ve historically been unpunctual. I might run late for a meeting, or not schedule enough time for
another project. I’ve worked my best to deal with this. I’ve begun make a much tighter schedule on my
calendar. I carry my pocket calendar everywhere to check my schedules. This has the added bonus of
not only helping with my time management, but enables me to remember all of the projects that I need to
carry on. I have become organized, and I can meet my project deadlines.
